Podcast: Play in new window | Download
On Sunday, December 18th at 5PM The Whiskey Boys are thrilled to be returning to one of our favorite venues: The Firebox in Hartford, CT. Click here for details!
We are especially excited about this gig because joining us will be talented bassist Adam Neely and Old Time Banjo Champion Lukas Pool! Be sure to stay for the second set to hear them!
We would love to see you at this gig so we hope you’ll come out, have a drink, sample the delicious menu and – while you’re at it, hear the Whiskey Boys!
On Wednesday, December 21st we are part of an incredible line up at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA!
Details.
If we weren’t playing this show we’d be there cheering. It’s an all Americana/Folk lineup with Greg Loftus, one of Dave’s favorite performers, headlining.
Also we are having a CONTEST!
Lizard Lounge isn’t the hugest venue, so we suggest buying tickets in advance at the link below. Also, if you buy a ticket in advance you can be entered to win our new “Name That Whiskey Boys Tune” contest! Dave recently wrote a super intrepid/adventurous sounding tune and it needs a name. If you:
1. Buy a ticket in Advance
2. Forward us the email we’re sure you get as a receipt to Contact@WhiskeyBoys.com
We will put your name in a hat to win! If you win, we’ll name the tune after you! (Only names that flatter the winner will be chosen.)
We will be performing at an event called SOOP this Sunday in replacement for our advertised gig at Club Passim:
SOOP, standing for Stories Of Our People is a storytelling potluck at 20 Granada Park in Roxbury, MA (Accessible by Stony Brook stop on the Orange Line) once a month. People come and bring vegetables or a bottle of wine (no hard alcohol, please) we make a soup and while it is stewing, people share a “story” that is important to them. Fairie Tales, songs, poems, personal anecdotes, etc.
The Whiskey Boys would like to be clear that Club Passim bears no responsibility for this change.
Due to a change in line up, The Whiskey Boys will NOT be playing at Club Passim on Sunday as was previously listed on Passim’s program and website. Another band will be performing in our place. We might be playing another gig that night in Roxbury, stay tuned for updates!
