SOPA

January 18th, 2012 by David

The original Whiskey Boys were men and women who in the 1790s protested a tax that was skewed in favor of the entrenched powers of the time. The Whiskey Boys now stand up against a bill that is similar in spirit. The Stop Online Piracy Act would mean the end to online communities and resources like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Wikipedia, our Podcast, Bandcamp, and many other websites that are crucial to the success of independent musicians. SOPA would make it once again impossible to make a living in music without a major label. Please consider taking action against SOPA at this link
